Yesterday Durant High School students rocked canes, walkers, bath robes and suspenders for elderly day as part of homecoming spirit week. Today, many students wore suspenders again, but this time for a roaring 20’s themed spirit day.
Besides suspenders, many lovely flapper girls wore bright red lipstick, feather boas and sequins headbands. The boys looked snazzy in fedora hats, pinstriped suits and silk ties.
Durant will host a pep rally Thursday at 6:30 p.m. before the junior varsity football game against Newsome. Homecoming court festivities will take place at the game Friday night.
