The Plant City Lions Club held its first ever clay shooting event Saturday.
The event was a fundraiser to help two local families in need of cataract surgery.
"Part if the premise of the Lion's Club is to help the blind see," Mark Cornett, a Lion's Club member said.
Cataracts are degenerative conditions of the eye responsible for half the blindness in the world and about a third of visual impairment, according tot he World Health Organization.
