Flashy costumes, exciting props, and numbers full of twists and tricks — that’s what was in store for audience members at the 2015 Dancing with the Locals Competition on Friday, Nov. 13. Couples performed for a panel of judges while audience members enjoyed an open bar and appetizers. Ten couples competed in the annual event, which is a fundraiser for Plant City’s Noon Rotary Club.
After a night of dazzling performances, judges and audience members voted for their favorite couples. Marshal Sewell and Megan Mayo-Sewell earned the Judges’ Choice award. Father-daughter duo Tony and Deanna Rodriguez took third place, with Marshal Sewell and Megan Mayo-Sewell taking second place. Darry and Heather Dykstra were the first place winners.
