First Baptist Church hosted the annual James Ranch Christmas Party on Tuesday, Dec. 8, which featured barbecue, songs and Santa Claus.
The party, which just celebrated its 37th anniversary, is for the adults with special needs that the MacDonald Training Center works with. The party featured an appearance from Santa Claus, who brought gifts for the adults, and several renditions of traditional Christmas carols. The Greater Tampa Association of Realtors was the chief sponsor of the event, and the Poppell family cooked barbecue for the hungry guests.
In addition to the festivities, MTC representative Richard Diaz accepted a $900 donation on behalf of Brenda Rabbitt and all who contributed to the fund.
