Plant City athletes and charity patrons woke early on Saturday, Oct. 3, to compete in the 5K Good Cookie Run. The run, which began on N. Palmer Street in Historic Downtown, benefitted children’s cancer charities.
Kids enjoyed bounce houses, and cookies and other refreshments were available. The winner of the 5K was Melissa Trinidad, who finished the race in just over 22 minutes.
