At its monthly meeting on Monday, Feb. 8, the Plant City Garden Club hosted a presentation by the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey.

BIRDS OF PREY

Birds of prey are birds that hunt other animals for food, such as rats and insects. These birds are characterized by their sharp, curved talons and beak, which they use to tear apart their prey. Common birds of prey include kites, eagles, vultures and falcons.
