PHOTO GALLERY: Blessing of the Animals

Pet owners and animal lovers celebrated the Feast of St Francis of Assisi at St Peters Episcopal Church on Sunday, Oct. 6 with the annual Blessing of the Animals ceremony.

Around 10 dogs and cats were escorted to the lawn of the church to join in a special church service. Owners sang hymns, listened to readings and walked in a procession by a cross so that their pets could be blessed.
