The third annual Blueberry Queen Pageant was held Saturday, March 21, at Keel and Curley Winery in Plant City. Girls competed in seven age groups for the titles of queen, first maid and the “fan favorite.” The queens will reign over the 2015 Tampa Bay Blueberry Festival at the winery.
The 2015 Miss Blueberry Queen is Chloe Tew, 15. One of Tew’s hobbies is showing cattle. She describes herself as honest, fun and a spitfire. Some of the reasons she competed in the Blueberry Queen Pageant were to gain sisters and give back to the community.
Ellie Shouse was named first maid in the miss division, and Emily Gagnon had the most votes for fan favorite.
