There was a large turnout this morning for Breakfast with Santa at Plant City’s First United Methodist Church.
It was the eighth year of the event that gives families an opportunity to get a wholesome breakfast and kids to take part in several activities, including getting their picture taken with Santa himself!
Activities included coloring and cookie decorating. Music was provided by the Spirit Singers and kids were told the story of the true meaning of Christmas.
“That’s what we really want to get out of this event,” said FUMC children’s director Shawna Cook. “We want to spread the message of that story to the children.”
