The residents of The Meadows on Sam Allen Road are raising awareness and money for breast cancer with a series of events this week. Though October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, many of The Meadows’ residents are in Plant City for only the winter, so this annual rally is held when the population is at its peak. In addition to the golf cart parade today, Feb. 4, there will be a golf tournament benefit tomorrow, Feb. 5.
