The Plant City Chamber of Commerce recognized five Businesses of the Year at a dinner and award ceremony Thursday, Nov. 6, at the John R. Trinkle Center. Unity in the Community was named Special Business of the Year for its exemplary contributions to the community. Other winners were:
- Growing Business of the Year: Matrix Medical
- Small Business of the Year: Paul’s Hand Lettering Service
- Mid-Size Business of the Year: Maryland Fried Chicken
- Large Business of the Year: The Hay Exchange
