Plant City’s top young minds came together for a week of fun-filled research and problem-solving during the community’s first Camp Invention, held June 23 to 27, at Plant City’s First Baptist Church.
The campers used a plethora of parts — including paper towel tubes, cardboard boxes and even the innards from computers and radios — to construct a variety of working vehicles, pinball games and cars.
The camp ended with a showcase June 27, for parents, family members and friends.
