Members and supporters of the East Hillsborough Art Guild gathered Friday, March 24, at the 1914 Plant City High School Community Center to celebrate the guild's 25th anniversary.
In addition to an art showcase, the guild honored and featured the work of EHAG founder Eleanor McDade.
"Twenty-five years ago, she saw the need to continue to support the arts in Plant City," Betty Jones, EHAG's publicity director, said. "She is a remarkably talented artist. Her dedication to EHAG has been un-daunting. Her enthusiasm, moral support and leadership is the reason we have been going strong these last 25 years."
Following the event, 11 names were drawn for a free art class taught by EHAG instructor Loretta Burns.
