Spirit Week continued at Durant High School Wednesday as students came dressed as senior citizens for “Elderly Day.”
Students both dressed and acted the part, dressed in overalls, wigs and night gowns and carrying canes and walkers. Spirit week continues Thursday with “Roaring 20’s Day,” where students will come dressed as 1920’s gangsters and flappers.
Durant will also host a pep rally Thursday at 6:30 p.m. before the junior varsity game with Newsome. Homecoming court festivities will take place at that game.
