Twelve years of planning finally called for a massive celebration on Sunday, April 24.
First Baptist Church of Plant City hosted the groundbreaking for its new campus, located off of Johnson Road, with an outdoor church service. Pastor Dr. Brian Stowe led the groundbreaking. The Promise Land committee and a church member from each generation also took ceremonial turns moving the dirt.
