It’s not even halloween yet, but Plant City was invaded by trick-or-treaters dressed as princesses, pirates, superheroes and more this weekend.
Hope Lutheran Church on Park Road hosted a three hour trunk-or-treat where families could come and collect candy in a safe environment. Church members’ cars lined up in a row on the grassy field next to the sanctuary. Their cars were decorated with pumpkins and hay. A friendly clown painted faces. Children played cornhole and soccer.
Across town at the Planteen Recreation Center on North Dort Street, children gathered for a fun dance party. Lining up for different games, flapper girls, ghostbusters and others danced in colored strobe lights. A haunted trail by the playground spooked the costumed kids.
