Friends of the Bruton Memorial Library hosted a fundraiser book sale Saturday, March 14, at the library. Thousands of fiction and non-fiction selections were available for browsing, each for $1 or less. After 2 p.m., visitors could take home an entire bag of books for just $1. Library volunteer Gene Brummitt organized the sale, as she has done annually for almost 20 years.
