Emma Showalter was crowned the 2013 Little Miss Plant City Saturday night at the 45th annual event, held at Plant City High School.
Giselle Gutierrez was named the first maid and Rylee Vanstonder, Payton Talavera and Amanda Astrike made the 2013 court. The five court members outlasted 51 contestants. The competition included a stage routine and a question and answer session with 15 finalists.
The Plant City Junior Woman’s Club, a non-profit organization that has been donating shoes and socks to local elementary schools since the 1970s, is the sponsor of the Little Miss Plant City Contest.
