Hillsborough County Commissioner Al Higginbotham, representing District 4, is campaigning to be elected again to the commission, but to represent District 7, Countywide. Mayor Rick Lott and his wife, Di Lott, hosted a fundraiser and gathering for Higginbotham at their home Oct. 9.
“We have a positive story, we have a great record, and we’re going to take that to the voters,” Higginbotham said. He attributed his success to faith, family and friends.
