Many months of hard work on the Midtown Village Green have finally paid off.
To celebrate the completion of the park area, which was made official on Jan. 22, the City of Plant City and the Plant City Recreation and Parks Department held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday morning.
Mayor Rick Lott and City Manager Mike Herr spoke about the Village Green project, honoring everyone who worked on it.
