The Plant City Photo Archives and History Center held its 14th annual gala, “An Evening of Picture Perfect Memories,” on Thursday, March 31.
Each year, patrons of the organization gather to honor the preservation of the community’s history and heritage. Annually, the prestigious Heritage Award is given to an individual.
This year, the Plant City Photo Archives and History Center elected to give the award to the Florida Strawberry Festival. The festival is the first organization to receive the award.
Festival President Dan Walden and General Manager Paul Davis accepted the award, which was presented by 2015 recipient Al Berry.
