On Saturday, Sept. 19, O’Brien’s Irish Pub & Grill hosted the O’Brien’s Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies “Duck Cancer” Derby. In waves, rubber ducks raced down a ramp and through a pool of water to a finish line. The winning duck from each heat then competed in a final race.
Before the day of the event, ducks were sold at O’Brien’s. All funds raised from the event will go towards cancer research. The money raised from this year’s event benefits the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Faces of Courage.
