After all the turkey and dressing had been devoured, Plant City Seventh-day Adventist Church offered an afternoon of fun Dec. 1 at its Festival of Hope.
The event featured a variety of booths from organizations such as South Florida Baptist Hospital and Guardian ad Litem. Children enjoyed face paining, carnival games, arts and crafts, and even a little cotton candy.
The event highlighted the church’s Community Service Center, which has been closed for repairs for two-and-one-half years. It will reopening in 2014.
