The Pregnancy Care Center of Plant City, in conjunction with the Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce, cut the ribbon on its new, nearly 1,350 square-foot expansion Saturday, April 29, the same day the Care Center celebrated its 25th anniversary.
The expansion to the facility, which turned 25 earlier this year, was originally slated for an estimated cost of $138,000. With the help of labor and material donations from the greater Plant City community, largely thanks to the efforts of Clayton Jenkins, the privately funded, pro-life organization was able to save about $40,000 on the project.
