It was the quite the ribbon cutting Friday, Jan. 25 at the new RaceTrac gas station off of James L. Redman Parkway.
Not only was it a sunny, mild day, there was lots of entertainment before the official cutting and presentation. Guests could spin a wheel for free prizes and food. Two Budweiser Clydesdale horses acted as perfect liaisons between the company and animal loving Plant City.
Pop youth group NRG performed as well as the Plant City High School Marching Band. The presentation of colors and the national anthem were performed to bless the opening. Mayor Mike Sparkman was one of the guest speakers.
The new employees ran down a red carpet, high-fiving a bear mascot as they were introduced to the crowd.
