The Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce hosted a 1920s-themed “Reverse Raffle” at Keel and Curley Winery March 19.
At a typical raffle, one ticket number is called, and its owner wins the prize. But at this event, guests were gradually eliminated from the raffle throughout the night as their numbers were called. The last person standing without his or her number being called was the winner of the grand prize: $1,500 in cash. Other prizes included smaller amounts of cash and gift cards. There was also a silent auction.
