Nearly 100 scouts and more than 50 volunteers are taking part in the Scouting in the Sun day camp at Medard Park in Plant City.
Cub and Boy Scouts represented packs and troops from Plant City, Lakeland, Riverview and Ruskin, among others. The week-long camp began Monday and ends Friday. By Friday, campers would have taken part in 35 activities, ranging from arts and crafts to nature trail walks.
The final day of the camp will include a massive water gun fight between scouts and volunteers and a pot luck picnic leading to the closing ceremony.
