The City of Plant City, along with the Plant City Recreation and Parks Department and the Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday afternoon for Snowden Park.
The park, located across from the Boys and Girls Club on Waller Street, underwent a series of renovations that include adding a playground, new baseball fields, a basketball court, a pavilion and several seating areas. New irrigation lines were also installed.
