Turkey Creek Middle School FFA students invited neighboring Robinson Elementary to join them at a U-Pick Friday, Feb. 13, at the field in front of the middle school.
The older students taught the young ones how to select the ripest strawberries and pack them into clamshells. Of course, there was lots of berry snacking in between collecting.
Turkey Creek will host a community U-Pick to benefit Plant City Relay for Life from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at 5005 S. Turkey Creek Road.
