Each Saturday in May, personal trainers from Anytime Fitness are offering a free workout at the Martin L. King Recreation Center, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. It is part of a nationwide initiative among 1,000 Anytime Fitness locations to help members of their communities get more active–even those who do not feel like they are in the best shape.
The free session is a circuit workout that includes walking lunges, burpees, pushups, planks and step aerobics. There are variations of each exercise, to accommodate participants of all ability levels.
