There's nothing like the excitement of the first day of a new school year, and that day was today for Plant City-area students.
Everyone kicked off the 2018-19 school year this morning but, before many students left home, they had one time-honored tradition to uphold: posing for that "first day" photo for their parents. Dozens of Plant City Observer readers sent in their own "first day" photos on Facebook and we've put together a slideshow featuring many of them.
