The Strawberry Love Food Truck Rally brought messy fun and an impromptu karaoke night to downtown Plant City. Hosted by Plant City Main Street the monthly food trucks focus on a unique theme to add pizzazz to the classic street food.
This month, the event featured a Strawberry Shortcake Eating Contest right in the heart of downtown for local youth. Separated into three age groups, the children competed against the clock and each other for a spot in the top three. After pounds of the sugary dessert was consumed the festivities continued with a karaoke machine at the DJ truck. Next month's theme is Steampunk Pirate and will feature an art show.
