Ethan Imm made short work of his shortcake Thursday as he emerged victorious in St. Clement Catholic Church's annual Strawberry Shortcake eating competition.
Ten competitors lined two tables in the Stingray Chevrolet tent for the competition, including Wednesday's Super Dog corn dog eating champion Patrick Fogarty. Contestants had ten minutes to devour four pounds of shortcake. For the first eight minutes, only spoons could be used, after that it was and delivery method available.
Fogarty was sure of his victory, but finished just behind Imm who took down his cake in seven minutes and fifty-nine seconds.
