Simmons Career Center hosted its first visit from its United States Marines miliary liaison, Sgt. Eduardo Jaimes, on Monday, Jan. 11.
Since Simmons is now a standard diploma school, the students are able to go into the military as a post secondary option, if they so chose. Many students were interested and excited to meet Jaimes.
As part of his visit, he did a pullup challenge for the students. Simmons doesn't have sports teams or physical education so the challenge was fun for its students to complete.
