The Plant City Commons Community Garden held its annual Plant Fest Saturday, offering a chance for the community to take home unique and well loved plants.
The Community Garden used the festival as a fundraiser for the group and sold annuals, roses, perennials, florida native trees, herbs, seeds and more. Shoppers could take home anything from a small cactus to a large tree.
The Community Garden is located across from HCC and offers members access to a greenhouse, the new seed library, their own garden bed and to the many tools and compost on site. Membership is $35 a year and all of the forms are available on the group’s website at www.plantcitycommunitygarden.com.
