While many Plant City youths spent their Friday night going to the movies, playing video games or hanging out at friends' houses, 25 of them spent theirs getting buckets.
The Plant City Family YMCA stayed open late for the kids to kick off its new "midnight" sports series with full and half-court basketball action and a DJ spinning tunes. Friday's session ran from 9:45 p.m. to 12 a.m., which will also be the case for next Friday's futsal night and the Jan. 26 basketball night.
