Plant City High School was presented with a check of $10,836 today as the winner of the “Sweetbay Supports Local Schools” contest.
Henry Falcon, manager of the Sweetbay store in Plant City, presented the check to Colleen Richardson, principal of Plant City High School. Cathy Erickson, customer service manager, also took part in the presentation.
The “Sweetbay Supports Local Schools” contest has been held for 10 years. Plant City High School has won first place in the state for the last two years and won the additional $10,000 each year. To participate in the contest customers buy at least three of designated products and earn two “School Dollars” for a school of their choice.
Plans are being made to apply the winnings to the purchase a new digital marquee for the front of the school.VkUnlocker
