
The school earned six awards total.
The Plant City High School PTSA brought home six new trophies to 1 Raider Place on Thursday, May 20.
The school's PTSA was honored with six awards by the Hillsborough County Council PTA/PTSA at an annual luncheon. PCHS was awarded with the Family Involvement Award for the Orange Crush Program, the Golden Participation Award and the PTSA Student Involvement Award.
PTSA volunteers also were honored. Mark Yarbrough took home the Superman Award, and Yvonne Fry was recognized with the PTSA President of the Year Award.
On the student side, Luke Whitmore was honored with the Sgt. A Percy King Award for Heroism and Arie Fry was recognized as the PCHS Student of the Year. Olivia Brosky was recognized as the school's Senior of the Year.
