In Plant City, the Florida Strawberry Festival is a huge event. Hundreds of thousands of people go to it every year. Many come to enjoy some strawberry shortcake and the art, FFA and strawberry festival exhibits. But the headline concerts are one of the biggest draws.
Students at Plant City High School are just as excited as the town and tourists for the concerts. Even though not all students enjoy country, they are still looking forward to seeing some of the groups in other genres that are coming, such as Lecrae, Echosmith and Casting Crowns.
One person that seems popular with the students this year is Josh Turner.
“I’m actually planning on seeing Josh Turner,” Kinslie Turner said. “I actually got free tickets for his concert.”
But Josh Turner isn’t the only artist that people are looking forward to seeing in concert.
“I’m going to see Merle Haggard,” Julian Borroto said.
