There were no injuries or homes damaged by the fire.
Firefighters were able to stop a quick-moving afternoon brush fire at Trapnell Road and James L. Redman Parkway Thursday, April 20.
At 1:30 p.m., Hillsborough County Fire Rescue and Plant City Fire Rescue responded to the area located alongside Trapnell Road. The fire was about 3 to 4 acres in size.
Though one home was threatened by the fire, firefighters were able to extinguish the flames. No homes were damaged and no injuries were reported in the incident.
