Afternoon and evening prayer services will be held Thursday, May 4, in celebration of National Day of Prayer.
The first community prayer event will take place from noon to 1 p.m. May 4, at City Hall, 302 W. Reynolds St. During the ceremony, proclamations will be awarded by Mayor Rick Lott, and by the offices of Rep. Dan Raulerson and Congressman Dennis Ross.
The evening prayer service will follow from 7 to 8 p.m. at Life Family Church, 600 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Plant City. The evening service will be led by Pastor Jack Myers.
