Kory Christopher Nelms, 33, was transported to a local hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, according to a news release.
The Plant City Police Department said in a news release that a local man was transported to a nearby hospital following a shooting at 301 N. Thomas Street. Kory Christopher Nelms, 33, was found with multiple gunshot wounds after an officer heard gunshots while on duty, according to the report.
Police believe the suspect and Nelms were acquainted and he was shot over a dispute, according to the release.
