Voters in precincts 753 and 763 received last-minute changes to their polling sites.
Two polling sites for Tuesday's special election primary in Florida House District 58 have been changed because of traffic caused by the Department of Children and Families Food for Florida program.
Voters from precinct 763 who were assigned to vote at Hope Lutheran Church can now vote at Faith Temple Assembly of God, 4240 N. Frontage Road.
Precinct 753 voters will now vote at the Bruton Memorial Library, 302 McClendon St., instead of Plant City Recreations and Parks. It’s the second move for precinct 753 voters. Their original polling site, the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center, was changed due to a storm-related closure.
According to the Hillsborough County Supervisor of elections, about 800 voters are affected by the changes. Voters unable to make it to the new sites can visit any Supervisor of Elections Office to have a ballot printed.
The Supervisor of Elections Offices is advising voters to call (813)-774-5900 or visit votehillsboeough.org if there are any issues related to primary voting.
