The group hopes to be able to purchase forensic tools for educational use.
The Plant City Youth CSI Club is going strong, but could use some help.
While local organizations have already made donations to the club, it announced today that it's looking for more donors to help fund the purchase of five forensic kits and a DSLR camera. The forensic kits contain tools for latent prints, casting and molding.
"The field of forensic science is costly in regards to training equipment and supplies due to the complexity of science required," William Thomas Jr. said in a release.
The club is based out of the Bing Rooming House Museum, 205 S. Allen St. For more information, visit www.ImprovementLeague.com.
