The Plant City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in tracking down a man who robbed the GTE Federal Credit Union at about 5:25 p.m. Feb.12, at 2201 James L. Redman Parkway.
Plant City detectives, with the help of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Probation and Parole, have identified the suspect as 32-year-old William David Mounts.
Detectives believe Mounts is still in the area. Mounts has a violent criminal history and should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone coming into contact with Mounts should not attempt to confront him but rather report his location to the police immediately.
