Early Tuesday morning a man threatened two employees at a Circle K gas station with a large knife and demanded they give him money from the registers.
Plant City detectives are searching for a man who robbed a local Circle K gas station with a large knife early Tuesday morning.
A male entered the building, 1514 S. Alexander St., at approximately 3 a.m. armed with the
knife, which was possibly a machete, and demanded money from the two female employees, according to Sgt. Al Van Duyne, Plant City Police Department’s public information officer.
Van Duyne said the suspect was approximately 5’06” with a thin build and wore a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, a black headband with a green marijuana leaf logo and had a black bandanna covering his face. The employees gave him the cash from the registers and he fled the scene.
No injuries were reported during the incident. Anyone with information should call PCPD at 813-757-9200.
