Since being remodeled, the Pregnancy Care Center of Plant City has seen an increase in patients. Last month, the center saw 198 women. Before the remodel, it was seeing on average about 120 women a month. The new sonogram machine will only help with the uptrend.
The sonogram machine was purchased with the help of the Knights of Columbus from St. Clements Catholic Church.
“We desperately, desperately needed this machine,” Executive Director Darlene Davis said.
Among those in attendance included Florida Right to Life Executive Director Rachel Burgin.
