The tickets will be available at nearly 300 stores throughout Central Florida.
The Florida Strawberry Festival will begin selling discount admission tickets for the 2016 festival at Publix Supermarkets on Thursday, Jan. 28.
Publix will sell tickets at the customer service desk in participating locations. Tickets are $8 for adults, and $4 for children ages 6 to 12. Children ages 5 and under are admitted for free.
"We pride ourselves on creating a family-friendly event," Florida Strawberry Festival General Manager Paul Davis said. "We hope this discount offer will allow even more families to enjoy the festival."
The Publix ticket sales will run from Jan. 28, to Sunday, March 13. Nearly 300 stores throughout Charlotte, Collier, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Lake, Lee, Manatee, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Sarasota and Sumter Counties will sell admission tickets and promote the festival to customers. In addition, some participating stores will offer discounted strawberry shortcake tickets.
"We're excited about our continuing partnership with the Florida Strawberry Festival ticket sales," Publix Media and Community Relations Manager Brian West said. "Our customers really enjoy the convenience."
