One Plant City resident was hospitalized following a house fire yesterday, in Plant City.
Multiple Hillsborough County Fire Rescue units responded at about 3 p.m. April 27, to the home at 3610 Boot Bay Loop. Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke and flames coming from the structure.
Water shuttle operations were established due to lack of hydrants in the area. The crews were able to contain and extinguish the fire.
The American Red Cross was initiated to help with the displacement of the residents.
The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.
