The Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting April 18, for the Toastmasters International Plant City Toastmasters, Club #4051, at the chamber’s location, 106 N. Ever St., Plant City.
The chamber held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to welcome the new president, Doug Hurlburt, and the board for Plant City Toastmasters. Toastmasters International, founded in 1924, is a leading organization in communication and leadership skill development. Everyone from complete beginners to advanced speakers is invited to join. Toastmasters members learn to tell their stories and listen to others in order to find their paths to leadership.
